Statement of Purpose

Tennessee can and must serve as a beacon of freedom within our federated republic, the United States of America. A defined and contained government that safeguards fundamental civil liberties and ensures the rule of law, as established by our U.S. Constitution, while imperfect, has proven to be the best model yet devised in human history for fostering a civil society that promotes human flourishing. Yet in recent decades, our government has enacted policies that have moved the nation closer and closer toward an authoritarian administrative state, characterized by top-down central planning and a vast unchecked bureaucracy that seeks to exercise control over the people. The Tennessee Liberty Whip exists to stand in the gap and counter this disturbing shift in the Volunteer State.
